Still Among ‘Best’

Oswego named a 'Best Northeastern College,' again

SUNY Oswego is one of the best colleges and universities in the Northeast, according to the Princeton Review. Oswego is one of 212 institutions it recommends in its book “The Best Northeastern Colleges: 2009 Edition,” published this month by Random House/Princeton Review Books.

Science Upgrade

$69.5 million to fund completion of renovated science facilities

Men’s Basketball Lakers edged by St. Lawrence, 90-87, Downing surpasses 1,000 career points

Senior guard Tommy Downing (Staten Island/Curtis) became the second player on the Oswego State men’s basketball team this season to score 1,000 career points and was one of five starters to score in double digits, but visiting St. Lawrence overcame an eight-point defict midway into the first half to take a five-point halftime lead and never trailed for the rest of the game en route to a 90-87 win over the Lakers in a non-conference contest at Max Ziel Gymnasium on Tuesday, January 6.
